Weekly Update September 10, 2017
What’s Been Going On…
Another week of work for me. Misty was lucky–she was on vacation.
Nothing really excited to report this week. The weather has been weird. Up, down, up, down. I don’t know what to wear to work, so I’ve been trying to dress in layers.
Today was pretty fun, though. Misty and I finally had a day off together. We went to the library book sale, Goodwill, Walmart, and had lunch at Wendy’s.
Now I just need my hubby to have a day off on the same day as me. He works weekends and I work weekdays until around 8 pm, so we don’t get to do much together.
Stacking the Shelves
Because we went to the book sale at the public library, we got a bunch of books. I tried to control myself, though. $13.50 is all I spent, and that’s a lot better than I’ve done in the past.
I’m not going to link up the books and add pictures this week because there are too many, but I’ll at least break them up into genres.
Paranormal Mystery or Thriller
Book of Shadows by Alexandra Sokoloff
Paranormal Romance
The Shadows by J.R. Ward
Rapture by J.R. Ward
Dark Magic by Cheyenne McCray
Wanted: Undead or Alive by Kerrelyn Sparks
White Hot by Ilona Andrews (I already reviewed this when we were on the old blog, but I wanted it anyway)
Wicked Nights by Gena Showalter
Siren’s Call by Jayne Castle
Succubus Revealed by Richelle Mead
Mystery/Suspense/Thriller
Bone White by Wendy Corsi Staub (I have this on Edelweiss, but I decided to get the paperback too)
No Good Deed by Allison Brennan
Her Darkest Nightmare by Brenda Novak (Already have from Netgalley)
The Murderer’s Daughter by Jonathan Kellerman (Yep, I already have this from Netgalley, too. What can I say? I like paperback form better.)
The Steel Kiss by Jeffery Deaver (This is another one I have a Netgalley book that I didn’t get around to reading. Now, I’ll just read the paperback I bought.)
14th Deadly Sin by James Patterson
Urban Fantasy
Skinwalker by Faith Hunter
Raven Cursed by Faith Hunter
Historical Romance
Highland Hero by Amanda Scott
Border Moonlight by Amanda Scott
Young Adult
The Death Cure by James Dashner
Compared to the damage I used to do at the book sale, I don’t feel that bad. Most of the books I got are ones that go with series I have already started and own books for.

Plans for the Upcoming Week…
My TBR Purge Weekly Recap will be posted today, along with the Linky for anyone who wants to participate in that challenge.
I’m going to continue to try to knock as many short stories and novellas off my TBR, while reading the books I need to get done this week for authors or tours.
We have several blitzes, reviews, and more posting this week.
I didn’t do a very good job this week of putting up reviews from the old blog. I’m going to try to do some more of that in the upcoming week. If I get time, I’m planning on working on pages as well. My goal is to get the October book releases page live by the last week of September, plus keep adding more stuff to the pages we already have.
In between all that, I’m working on adding collections to my Kindle app so I can find books easier. And I’m planning on starting a new TBR in a brand new three-subject notebook I bought just for that purpose.
That’s all for the Weekly Update September 17, 2017.
Have a great week of reading and whatever else you have planned!

I liked the Succubus series by Richelle Mead, hope you enjoy. I’ve also added Skinwalker to my tbr. 🙂
I’ve read parts of Skinwalker and some of the other books in the Jane Yellowrock series. I like what I’ve read so far. I hope you enjoy it!
