Blurb for Curse on the Land

Curse on the Land cover

Before Nell Ingram met skinwalker Jane Yellowrock, she had no one to rely on, finding strength only in in her arcane connection to the dark woods around her. But now she has friends in the newly-formed PsyLED team to keep her grounded—even if being part of the agency responsible for policing paranormals presents dangers of its own…

After training at the PsyLED academy, Nell returns home to her woods to find the land feeling sick and restless. And that sickness is spreading. With the help of her team, under the leadership of agent Rick LaFleur, Nell tries to determine the cause. But nothing can prepare them for the evil that awaits: an entity that feeds on death itself. And it wants more…

Misty’s Review of CURSE ON THE LAND

I read Curse on the Land because I had read the first installment and fell in love with this series. I love the characters and the world that Faith Hunter had created.

Although I received a free advanced reading copy for review, my opinions are my own.

The Story

This is the continuing story of Nell Ingram. She is home from PsyLED school. She is on her way to becoming an agent. Rick LaFleur is her team leader and friend. When she returned home she wants to reconnect with her woods that she was away from for so long. She is happy to be home, but something is a miss.

When Nell realized her woods were sick she enlisted the help of her team to find out what is wrong. What they found throws Nell for a loop and they have to find a way to stop the evil that is spreading.

Do I Recommend?

This is a series that I would recommend to any urban fantasy lover and to new comers to the urban fantasy world. This is an awesome series.

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars. (A)
