Blurb for Simon and Rose
Simon Le Beau desperately wants two things: to help his fellow service veterans and have a baby with his beloved mate, Rose. His experience of being stuck in wolf form has spurred him into action. He has no idea how to start a charity, but he’s determined to figure it out. And his friend, Mark, is just the man to help him.
Rose Le Beau loves her mate, but babies terrify her. What does she know about babies? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Tragically wounded, combat veteran Mark Anderson has a lot of time on his hands. No longer able to serve his country and suffering from PTSD, he’s bored and at his wits end. That is, until his conversation with Simon. What had he been thinking when he offered to be one of the singles auctioned off? A date, he’s okay with. Anything more sends him into a panic attack.
Sharon Lejeune is tired of being set up with losers in the hopes she will find her one true mate. Her intuition is screaming that something big is about to happen. She just didn’t expect that something big to be her mate. Who knew a shifter could purchase a mate at a singles auction?
Will Mark’s insecurities destroy his chance at happiness?
Will Sharon lose her one true mate to PTSD?
Even if she wins her mate’s heart, would he survive the conversion?
Can Simon’s love and desire for a child convince Rose that babies aren’t something to fear?
Misty’s Review of Simon and Rose
Simon and Rose takes place after Simon. This was a great addition to the series. I love the fact that V.A. Dold is writing short stories about the characters to help us get to know them better. I was so captivated to the pages that I couldn’t put it down till I reached the end.
Simon and Rose is the story of how Simon’s charity to help service men and women who suffer from PTSD get dogs and help got started. Simon really gets into his charity to help the service men and women returning home from war. He enlisted the help of Mark his former commanding officer and Rose.
Simon and Rose put together a charity ball and auction to help raise money for his charity. During the ball Simon’s brother Stefan finds his true mate and he bids on her and wins her. Simon’s charity raised a lot of money from the auction.
